Speedy was really fast for a turtle. And he was super cute too. He loved to race around the piano legs and under the couch. Dad found him on the side of the road and brought him home, and we let him swim in the bath and couldn't believe how much dirt fell off. Then we built him a nice habitat with a pool and rocks to climb in and out of the pool. Then Mom got on the internet to research how to feed Speedy, and she found out that 90% of reptiles and amphibians carry salmonella, which doesn't make them great pets for young kids. Needless to say, Speedy was taken to the stream behind our house, where he seemed very happy. He was a fun 3-hour pet :)

I found your blog and was so excited. Just wanted to say hello. Our world has changed a lot since we last saw you, but I wanted to thank you guys for all you did for us. We really love you guys.
